“Enough is Enough”: America Reacts to the Killing of George Floyd

On May 25, 2020, George Floyd, 46, died in Minneapolis, MN while in Minneapolis Police custody when Officer Derek Chauvin Knelt on Floyd’s neck for nearly nine minutes during the arrest. Public outrage took form in protests, riots and moments of unity across the United States for weeks as the four officers involved were first fired and then charged.
